Med-Surg Nurses Week

Med-Surg Nurses Week is celebrated each year from Nov. 1–7. It’s a time to recognize the medical-surgical nurses who work tirelessly to provide quality care, comfort and compassion to their patients.

Ways to Celebrate

Throughout the week, we encourage you to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments achieved throughout the past year. Ideas include:

• Celebration raffles with prizes
• Creating "Why I Am Med-Surg" posters to hang in your hospital
• Incorporating a fun theme for the week
• Games for patients and their families
• Hosting a potluck, staff breakfast, lunch, or ice cream social
