AMSN accepts ongoing submissions of medical-surgical nursing research, insights, and innovative practices that help drive meaningful progress. Submission Categories include:
- Original Research - reports new research findings or conceptual analyses that make a significant contribution to knowledge.
- Review Papers - this includes critical reviews of literature, including systematic, integrative, and scoping reviews.
- Clinical Papers - include evidenced-based practice (EBP), quality improvement (QI), and performance improvement (PI) initiatives that have been implemented.
- Practice Columns/ Letters/ Editorials - an opinion or evidenced-based opinion related to a broad interest.
