Meet the 2025 AMSN Fellows

Meet the 2025 AMSN Fellows

By AMSN Digital Content Committee

On Thursday, Sept. 11, the 2025 class of AMSN Fellows was inducted. The Fellows program, now in its second year, welcomed 11 dedicated AMSN members who have demonstrated leadership in medical-surgical nursing with sustained and notable contributions to the specialty beyond their work environment and have achieved success in medical-surgical nursing, having provided academic accomplishment, mentorship, advocacy, and volunteer service, while committing to defining, refining, and advancing the specialty.

During the Rodeo Reception, we connected with three of the new Fellows to hear more about their journey to the fellowship, what this recognition means to them, and how they are involved with AMSN. Watch the videos below!

Dr. Aimee Burch, DNP, APRN-CNS, CMSRN, SCRN, FAMSN

Dr. Katie Chargualaf, PhD, RN, CMSRN, CNE, FAAN, FAMSN

Dr. Michael Urton, DNP, APRN, AGCNS-BC, NEC-BC, FAMSN

Congratulations to the new AMSN Fellows, and thank you to Dr. Mark Lee for conducting these interviews!
