I find myself eagerly counting down the days to the upcoming AMSN Annual Convention taking place Sept. 12­­–14 in Toronto, Ontario. This event represents not just a gathering of professionals but also an opportunity to immerse in the latest advancements, gain invaluable insights, and expand networks within the medical-surgical community.

One of the most thrilling aspects of this convention is the chance to deepen the understanding of current trends and best practices in medical-surgical nursing. From innovative treatment modalities to evidence-based practices, each session promises to enrich clinical knowledge and provide the tools needed to enhance patient care outcomes. Some of my most anticipated sessions include the use of virtual nursing and the new CAVRN (Certified Acute Virtual Registered Nurse) credential!
